in the summer of 2009 i was in communication with a guy trying to open a japanese style karaoke box club in portland, oregon. these renderings were produced to illustrate the concept for potential investors / landlords. so far as i know the vision was never realized.

a minor student project with interesting results. tasked with ‘reconsidering a familiar object’ i choose the constellation monoceros. distance-from-earth data for each star involved was used in an accurate a 3D computer model allowing (re)consideration from various vantage points.
