in the summer of 2009 i was in communication with a guy trying to open a japanese style karaoke box club in portland, oregon. these renderings were produced to illustrate the concept for potential investors / landlords. so far as i know the vision was never realized.

pillbox house

a minor student project. the assignment was to use an everyday item or two to make something new, so i cut up an old icetray and a bit of computer cable to make this.

from a student project (‘submarine museum’) at PSU. model constructed of layered cardboard with precision cutouts, necessitating the invention of an elaborate coordinate system to plot each layer’s corresponding shape. below are two documents used to calculate cut positions.
